Network Topologies Used :

Ethernet -

10 Base-T (cat 5) cabling is used in all of our new three or more network installations or if a 100 Mbps network is implemented. Unless specified the 568A spec. is used in all wiring designs.

10 Base-2 (coax) cabling is used in some of our three or less network installations, older 10 Mbps networks or were cost is a factor.

All ends are finished with genuine Amp RJ-45 connectors, Cat 5 Leviton 110 punch down receptacles installed in surface mount boxes. For in wall conduit boxes a two, three, four, six port wall plates are used making the system modular and easily expandable.

All cabling is checked for: line to line continuity; noise cross talk; length verification.

Token Ring -

10 Base-T (cat 5) cabling is used in all of our Token Ring network installations were a 16 Mbps network is implemented. Unless specified the 568A spec. is used in all wiring designs.

Type 1 cabling is used to interconnect Multi-Access Units in both the 4 Mbps & 16 Mbps networks.

All ends are finished with genuine Amp RJ-45 connectors, Cat 5 Leviton 110 punch down receptacles installed in surface mount boxes. For in wall conduit boxes a two, three, four, six port wall plates are used making the system modular and easily expandable.

All cabling is checked for: line to line continuity; noise cross talk; length verification.
